A splendid event was organized this evening (Saturday, November 1) at Hotel Le Méridien Dhaka on the occasion of the 71st National Day of Algeria. The event was hosted by His Excellency Mr. Abdelouahab Saldani, Ambassador of Algeria to Bangladesh, and Mrs. Mariam Saldani. Ambassadors, high commissioners, diplomats, political figures, retired military officers, senior government officials, and distinguished members of civil society attended the ceremony.

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Secretary General and former MP Professor Mia Golam Porwar, Central Executive Committee Member Mr. Mobarak Hossain, and Jamaat Ameer’s Advisor on Foreign Affairs Professor Dr. Mahmudul Hasan attended the event on behalf of the party.

On this occasion, Professor Mia Golam Porwar handed over a felicitation message from Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman to His Excellency Mr. Abdelouahab Saldani, addressed to Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, marking the 71st National Day of Algeria.

At the event, best wishes were expressed for the happiness, peace, prosperity, and progress of the government and people of Algeria, along with the hope that bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Algeria will be further strengthened.
