On the occasion of the visit of Mr. Johann Saathoff, Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of the Federal Republic of Germany, the German Embassy in Dhaka organized a special event. Ambassadors, high commissioners, diplomats, political figures, retired military officials, senior government officers, and distinguished members of civil society from various countries attended the program.

At the invitation of His Excellency Dr. Rüdiger Lotz, Ambassador of Germany, and Ms. Ivana Lotz, former Member of Parliament and Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Professor Mia Golam Porwar attended that colorful event.

During the meeting, Professor Mia Golam Porwar conveyed his best wishes for the continued stability of the German government and the lasting happiness, peace, and prosperity of the German people. He also expressed hope that the existing bilateral trade and diplomatic relations between Bangladesh and Germany would be further strengthened.
