On 8th July, Tuesday night, the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka hosted a reception in honor of a high-level delegation of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami ahead of their upcoming visit to China. His Excellency Mr. Yao Wen, the Ambassador of China to Bangladesh was present at the event and delivered a speech.

The reception was attended by the delegation led by Jamaat-e-Islami's Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman. Among the attendees were Nayeb-e-Ameer and former MP Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher, Secretary General and former MP Professor Mia Golam Porwar, Assistant Secretary Generals Maulana ATM Masum, Maulana Abdul Halim, Maulana Muhammad Shahjahan, and Advocate Ahsanul Mahboob Zubair. Jamaat's Central Executive Committee members Saiful Alam Khan Milon and Mobarak Hossain, Jamaat's Industry and Commerce Department's President Mr. Shahidul Islam and Secretary Dr. Anwarul Azim, Ameer-e-Jamaat’s Personal Secretary Mr. Nazrul Islam, Mr. Omar Hasib Shafiullah, and Mr. Naushad Ali Farhad, among others were present in the program.

It is worth mentioning that a nine-member high-level delegation of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, led by Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, will visit China from 11 to 15 July at the invitation of the Chinese government, Insha’Allah.
