Jamaat Ameer at the training session for Thana Shura and Working Council members

We want to establish a discrimination-free society - asserts Dr. Shafiqur Rahman

Jamaat-e-Islami is not just a political party focused on votes or elections, but we are continuing an uncompromising struggle to transform the country into an Islamic welfare state by liberating the human race and bringing the desired changes in society,' said Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman.

He said these while speaking as the chief guest at the training session for Thana Majlish-e-Shura and Working Council members organized by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City North at the Al-Falah Auditorium in Moghbazar in the capital this afternoon. Central Executive Council Member of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and Dhaka City North Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin presided over the event and Central Majlish-e-Shura Member and Dhaka City North Jamaat's Assistant Secretary Mahfuzur Rahman moderated the event, while Central Working Council Member Dr. Maulana Abdus Samad presented Darsul Quran.

Among others, Acting Secretary General Maulana ATM Masum, Assistant Secretary General and former MP Dr. AHM Hamidur Rahman Azad, Central Executive Council Member Saiful Alam Khan Milon, Central Working Council Member and Dhaka City North Secretary Dr. Muhammad Rezaul Karim delivered the speeches.

Central Majlish-e-Shura Member and Dhaka City North Assistant Secretary Nazim Uddin Molla, Dhaka City North Working Council Member Jamal Uddin, Ataur Rahman Sarkar, Mohammad Shahidullah, Shah Alam Tuhin and Engineer Noman Ahmadi etc. were also present on the occasion.

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, Jamaat wants to bring positive changes in all aspects of the state through systematic and democratic methods. We want to reorganize the state's structure in such a way that the state can guarantee the rights of all people. Jamaat wants to establish a society where there will be no discrimination or distinction between people. But those who were in power in the past did not do so, rather they fulfilled their political ambitions, including protecting their personal interests, class interests, group interests, and narrow party interests. Therefore, Jamaat has always had to work against the tide. For good reason, we have been subjected to various forms of oppression and persecution. Such oppression and persecution for the Islamic movement is not new, rather the prophets and messengers were not spared from it. Allah Almighty took Hazrat Isa (A) from the world to His custody in the face of the oppression and persecution of the unbelievers. Therefore, the workers of the Islamic movement should not be discouraged by any oppression and persecution, rather should ignore all obstacles and obstacles and play an uncompromising role in the field.
