On Thursday afternoon, May 15, a meeting of the Central Working Committee of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami was held at the central office of the party, presided by the Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman. Jamaat-e-Islami's all Nayeb-e-Ameer and the Acting Secretary General, along with members of the Central Working Committee, were present in the meeting. The meeting discussed the overall situation of the country and various organizational issues of Jamaat-e-Islami.

Ameer-e-Jamaat Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said that the country is currently going through a transitional period. A deep domestic and foreign conspiracy has started against the country. Attempts are being made to destroy the peace and stability of the country. In this situation, everyone in the country must be vigilant and alert. We must play an effective role in building a humane Bangladesh by keeping the unity built through the July Movement.

Addressing the leaders of the organization, Jamaat Ameer said that, "you must be careful in every matter of the country. We must try to be patient, tolerant, by keeping trust in Allah Almighty and remaining firm on truth and justice at all times. We must exercise utmost caution while making any words and statements. It would be absolutely wrong to get involved in any provocation or unpleasant incident. Above all, we must play an effective role in building a humane Bangladesh with people from all walks of life. I hope you all will pay serious attention to the matter.

Finally, he prayed to the Almighty Allah seeking protection of our beloved homeland Bangladesh saying may Allah protect Bangladesh from all conspiracies and accept Bangladesh as a happy, prosperous and stable country.
