We should be very careful about Allah’s and people’s rights. We should fulfill the rights of Almighty Allah by obeying His rules and directives. We should avoid the things which have been prohibited by Allah. To save ourselves from accountability, we must be careful of Allah’s rights.
Acting Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former MP Professor Mujibur Rahman said this while virtually addressing a conference of Upazila level working committee members arranged by Jamaat-e-Islami Sylhet north organizational district. District Ameer Hafez Anwar Hossain Khan presided over the conference.
He said the people who foil the rights of the people will be considered helpless and endangered on the day of resurrection. The Prophet (pbuH) said, “If you do not commit sins, Allah would replace you with a people who would commit sins and seek forgiveness from Allah; and Allah will certainly forgive them.” So, we should be careful in this regard.
Acting Ameer said, we should behave politely with our parents. It is stated in the Quran that, “Thy Lord hath decreed that ye worship none but Him, and that ye be kind to parents. Whether one or both of them attain old age in thy life, say not to them a word of contempt, nor repel them, but address them in terms of honor.”
Professor Mujib stated that we should promote and spread Salam widely. We should fulfill the rights of the neighbors and make good behavior with them. We should try to lead a life free from loans. We should try to meet the rights of the orphans as we all have to be accountable for these issues on the day of Qiyamah.
Among others, Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General Advocate Ahsanul Mahboob Zubair, district Nayeb-e-Ameer Maulana Syed Foyzullah Bahar, district secretary Joinal Abedin, Assistant Secretary Maulana Islam Uddin, and Maulana Masuk Ahmed addressed the program.
