Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, to make the holy Quran victorious in the green field of Bangladesh, organizational base should be strengthened at all stages. The journey of our beloved organization was not a bed of roses. Since the onset, the vested quarters tried repeatedly to obstruct our movement. They created lots of challenges against us. But by the grace of Almighty Allah, Jamaat-e-Islami has proceeded significantly by overcoming all the challenges and obstacles. Jamaat has gained the love of people of all walks. However, being failed to resist Jamaat-e-Islami through conspiracies, the vested quarters tried to perish Jamaat by murdering our top leaders by utilizing all state apparatus. Alhamdulillah, our fellow colleagues are free from all types of misdeeds. Our only purpose is to establish a just society as per the rules of the holy Quran. To meet such target, Jamaat-e-Islami is continuing its efforts.

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said this while addressing a workshop with Dhaka south city Jamaat’s thana Majlish-e-Shura and working committee members as the chief guest on Friday. Jamaat’s central executive committee member and Dhaka south city Ameer Nurul Islam Bulbul presided over the program which was hosted by Jamaat’s central Majlish-e-Shura member and Dhaka south city’s Assistant Secretary Delwar Hossain. Among others, Jamaat-e-Islami’s Secretary General and former MP Professor Mia Golam Porwar, Assistant Secretary General Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan, noted religious scholar Maulana Khalilur Rahman Madani, central Majlish-e-Shura member and Dhaka south city Jamaat’s Nayeb-e-Ameer Abdus Sabur Fakir addressed the program. Central Majlish-e-Shura member and Dhaka south city Jamaat’s Nayeb-e-Ameer Dr. Advocate Helal Uddin, central Majlish-e-Shura member and Dhaka south city Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary Kamal Hossain and Dr. Abdul Mannan were also present at that time.

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, we are oath-bound members. We are dedicated to serve Almighty Allah. So, we will make our highest effort to build ourselves in order to build the nation as per the directives of the holy Quran. Who had opposed us, we consider them as our brothers and sisters and we will continue to pray for them seeking their guidance. Let us make effort to preserve the sanctity of the Ramadan month. Let us engage in purifying ourselves and simultaneously to attain the satisfaction of Almighty Allah.

Professor Mia Golam Porwar said, Dhaka south city Jamaat is being regarded as the rile model for entire Bangladesh. The flag of the Islamic movement will start to be hoisted from this city. The holy month of Ramadan is amongst us with the message of blessing, mercy, and salvation. We should keep ourselves busy in performing more Ibadah in this month. Our success will be ensured if we can attain the satisfaction of Allah.
Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan said, Allah is the controller of the entire universe. He is the supreme authority. We have to carry out all activities just to make Him pleased and satisfied. This city’s every single flat should be our office. Thana Majlish-e-Shura and working committee members have to work hard to meet the target.

Nurul Islam Bulbul said, as a leader, we have to realize the responsibility and need to act accordingly. As a thana Majlish-e-Shura and working committee members, we should make effort to implement to declared programs. All workers have to turn into a skilled manpower and human resource. In addition, we should continue our activities in order to secure the satisfaction of Almighty Allah. All leaders must play pivotal role to build a welfare society in accordance with the directions of the Quran. He urged the city leaders to follow a moderate and balanced approach in tackling all confusions and propaganda.
