Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Acting Ameer and former parliament member Professor Mujibur Rahman said Taqwa is a unique characteristic feature. Taqwa is very important and significant in the case of forming characters. Whoever has Taqwa feels the presence of Almighty Allah. Islamic society is to be built by attaining Taqwa and the basic requirement of
Taqwa is to read out the Quran and the Sunnah and simultaneously to implement its lessons in practical life.
Acting Ameer said this while virtually addressing a two-day long workshop of the Thana/Upazila Ameer, Nayeb-e-Ameer, Secretary and Assistant Secretaries, organized by the Comilla-Nokhali region Jamaat-e-Islami. Professor Mujib further said whoever will remain attached to the Quran and Sunnah, will never be afraid or deviated. It is mandatory to keep full trust in Qadr.
He said, there is no existence of voting rights, rights to speak, and right to move freely in the country now. People cannot express their views freely. The general masses are in deep trouble due to excessive price hikes of the essentials. Jamaat is working to restore civil rights. The next election must be held under the caretaker government system.
Jamaat will take part in the election if it is held under a caretaker regime. I am urging the working force of Jamaat-e-Islami to play a sincere role to secure these demands.
Addressing the workshop as the special guest, Jamaat’s Nayeb-e-Ameer and former MP Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher said, the dawah of Islam to be conveyed to all houses.
Popular leadership is required to alter public views and perceptions. Organization to be strengthened at the grassroots levels to bolster our entire movement.
