Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Thakurgaon district organized a workshop with the district’s working committee members in a local auditorium on 10th March. District Ameer Maulana Abdul Hakim presided over the program. Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General and Rangpur-Dinajpur region’s coordinator Maulana Abdul Halim addressed the workshop as the chief guest.
Maulana Abdul Halim said, Upazila working committee members should have full trust in Almighty Allah. The next parliamentary election is to be held under a caretaker government in order to restore democracy and people’s rights. To meet this demand, a massive movement is to be launched with the participation of the people. Maulana Abdul Halim urged fellow countrymen to take part in this movement.
Central executive committee member of Jamaat-e-Islami Principal Md. Ijjat Ullah and Mobarak Hossain addressed the workshop as special guests. Among others, Dinajpur north organizational district Jamaat Ameer Muhammad Anisur Rahman, and Thakurgaon district’s Nayeb-e-Ameer Professor Belal Uddin Prodhan addressed the program. District Secretary Md. Alamgir hosted the workshop.
