A workshop was held with the working committee members of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Jessore-Kushtia region on 20th January. Jamaat’s central executive committee member and regional coordinator Mobarak Hossain presided over the program. Jamaat’s Acting Ameer and former MP Professor Mujibur Rahman addressed the workshop as the chief guest.
Among others, party’s Acting Secretary General Maulana ATM Masum, Assistant Secretary General and former MP Hamidur Rahman Azad, Assistant Secretary General Maulana Abdul Halim and Advocate Ahasanul Mahabub Zubayer addressed the program.
Professor Mujibur Rahman said Almighty Allah gives the kingdom to whomever He wishes and takes away the kingdom from whomever He wishes. He makes mighty whomever He wishes and Allah abases whomever He wishes. So, everybody has to be a genuine servant of Almighty Allah and has to fulfill the rights of others. A portion of wealth should be donated to serve the cause of Allah. The rights of the neighbors and relatives should be met as well. Jamaat’s Acting Ameer instructs the manpower to take part in political programs wholeheartedly.
Acting Secretary General Maulana ATM Masum said, our souls are to be rectified to keep away from hell and also for achieving Jannah. Hamidur Rahman Azad in his speech presented the history, traditions, and future plans of Jamaat-e-Islami. Darsul Quran was delivered by Maulana Abdul Halim. He called upon the party activists to follow the features of a true believer and also for regular self-assessment. Ahasanul Mahabub Zubayer talked about leadership qualities.
The workshop was hosted by the assistant coordinator of the region Maulana Azizur Rahman and team member Alamgir Bishash. In his concluding speech, Mubarak Hossain thanked all the guests and the presence.
