Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Secretary General and former MP Professor Mia Golam Porwar has said, we have found the path of love for Allah and salvation by joining Jamaat-e-Islami. It is a great blessing from Allah that He has allowed us to get involved with this noble organization. Joining in this organization, we came to know the purposes of our creation. In many verses of the Quran, Allah has said about the compulsory rule of establishing Islam. Jamaat-e-Islami is a noble platform to accomplish this task. As a member of this organization, we have to prove ourselves as genuine servants of Allah through our faith, knowledge and deeds. As His genuine servant, we have to intensify our efforts in order to attain mercy and satisfaction of Almighty Allah.
Professor Mia Golam Porwar said this while addressing a virtual members’ conference organized by Panchagarh district Jamaat-e-Islami. District Ameer Maulana Iqbal Hossain presided over the program which was hosted by district secretary Maulana Delwar Hossain. Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General and Rangpur-Dinajpur region’s coordinator Maulana Abdul Halim and Jamaat’s central working committee member Principal Maulana Momtaz Uddin addressed the conference as the special guests.
Maulana Abdul Halim said, oppression and torture could not take Jamaat away from the path of movement and struggle. The martyrdoms of our top leaders, long term imprisonment and untold sufferings of many activists have made our organization stronger. He urged the Jamaat members to remain firm on the path of Islamic movement in order to secure success in the hereafter.
