Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Acting Ameer and former parliament member Professor Mujibur Rahman said, the incumbent tyrant regime will not be allowed to continue in office.
Professor Mujibur Rahman said while addressing an associate members’ conference organized by Lalmonirhat district Jamaat-e-Islami today. Jamaat’s central Majlish-e-Shura member and Lalmonirhat district Ameer lecturer Ataur Rahman presided over the conference which was hosted by district secretary Advocate Md. Abu Taher. Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General Maulana Abdul Halim, central working committee member and Rangpur-Dinajpur region’s assistant coordinator Maulana Momtaz Uddin and central Majlish-e-Shura member Professor Azizur Rahman Sarkar addressed the conference as the special guests.
Acting Ameer said, the authoritarian government is conducting repression nationwide. People’s basic rights have been hijacked. Public lives and properties are not secured. Being the citizens of an independent nation, people cannot live in their homes. The government has destroyed the educational system. As they cancelled the exam system, it will subsequently take the students away from books and regular studies. This anti-Islam government has withdrawn Quranic verses and ‘Islam’ word from the monogram of various universities. We have to launch movement unitedly against this anti-Islam government.
He said, the illegal Awami League government has organized an election of mutual understanding and distributing constituencies. He called upon the activists to circulate the Jamaat made leaflets among the people urging them to boycott the election. He also asserted that, the government will not be able to sustain by continuing arrest drives, repression or convicting opposition men in false cases.
Professor Mujib said, we have to study Quran and Hadith regularly. We all have to make significant role to take all of our family members to Jannah. We should sacrifice our lives and properties to establish Islam. We should convey the message of Islam to all. We should be firm on the street to get free from the oppression of the oppressors and simultaneously to make prayer to Allah seeking His help and blessings.
Lalmonirhat district Jamaat’s Nayeb-e-Ameer Maulana Habibur Rahman, Assistant Secretary Hafez Shah Alam, Jamaat leader Anwarul Islam Raju, former Upazila Vice chairman Advocate Firoz Haider Lavlu, district Jamaat’s working committee members, Upazila, municipality and union level leaders joined the conference and made it successful.
