The demand of caretaker government has become a national demand now. Under the caretaker government Awami League and BNP have come to the power for twice. But Awami League cancelled the caretaker government system intentionally in 2011. But all political parties and people of all professions and walks are united about holding election under caretaker government.
Jamaat-e-Islami’s Assistant Secretary General and Rangpur-Dinajpur region’s coordinator Maulana Abdul Halim said this while addressing a joint meeting of the leaders of Rangpur city, Nilphamari, Lalmonirhat, Kurigram and Panchagar.
He urged the leaders to motivate and organize the grassroots level workers and leadrs to implement the pre-declared peaceful programs including processions in cities and towns on 28th July and in district level on 30th July and massive rally on 1st August in the capital Dhaka. He called upon the leaders to play proactive roles to make the programs successful.
He claimed that by holding 10th June’s program peacefully, Jamaat once again proved that the party had observed the programs peacefully and constructively. Jamaat will take the ongoing movement into the peak of success by holding peaceful programs.
Among others, Jamaat-e-Islami’s central working committee member and Rangpur-Dinajpur region’s assistant coordinator Maulana Momtaz Uddin, central working committee member Professor Mahbubur Rahman Belal, regional team member Professor Azizur Rahman Sarkar and Maulana Abdul Khaleq, Rangpur city Ameer Maulana ATM Azam Khan, Nilphamari district Ameer Abdur Rashid, Kurigram district Ameer Maulana Abdul Matin Faruqee, Lalmonirhat district Ameer Lecturer Ataur Rahman and Panchagar district Ameer Iqbal Hossain addressed the program.
