Jamaat Ameer expresses deep grief and condolences on the demise of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman today, 30 December, issued a message of condolence expressing deep grief and condolences on the passing of former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.

The nation will remember Begum Khaleda Zia’s contribution to the anti-hegemony movement and struggle with respect. I express my deep grief and condolences on her passing.

He prayed that Allah Almighty forgive her mistakes and shortcomings and grant her Jannah-ul-Ferdous, and that Almighty Allah bestow patience upon her bereaved family members, relatives, and colleagues in this difficult time. Ameen.
