Jamaat has no connection with London conspiracy; Tasnim Alam rejects false information of the Janakantha report

Central Publicity Department’s Secretary of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Professor Md. Tasnim Alam has issued the following statement on 12th October, 2017 protesting and gainsaying the false information which has been published in a report of Bengali Daily ‘Janakantha’ titled “লন্ডন ষড়যন্ত্র” (London Conspiracy).

“The information which has been published in the report of Daily Janakantha is baseless. Such manipulated information has been published just to mislead the people.

Regarding this report of Daily Janakantha, I want to assert that Jamaat-e-Islami has no connection with the claimed London conspiracy. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is an Islamic organization, truly believes in systematic and democratic trend of transparent politics. Jamaat does not believe in the politics of plots and conspiracy, rather hates it sincerely.

Central leader of Jamaat-e-Islami, Barrister Abdur Razzaq has no nexus with the Pakistani intelligence ISI. So no question is emanated of his presence in the said meeting with ISI officials in a hotel in London. Jamaat’s involvement with any plot to topple the Bangladeshi government is completely a fiction.

There is no ground to think that, any message could have been come from London to the meeting of Dhaka city, from which Jamaat top brasses including the party Ameer have been arrested. These all are nothing but a concoction by the concerned reporter. It has no links and relevance with the reality at all. The Dhaka meeting was completely an informal in-house meeting. Entire content of the Janakantha report is a sheer lie.

I am asking the Janakantha authorities not to publish such fictitious false report against Jamaat-e-Islami.
