“Police has unlawfully arrested Jamaat-e-Islami’s Natore district town Jamaat Ameer Maulana Rashedul Islam, Islami Chhatrashibir Natore town’s Secretary Hafez Abdur Rahman and Office Secretary Hafez Masud Rana on 21stAugust.

Natore police has arrested the aforesaid leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami and Chhatrashibir without any reason. Their unjust arrest once again exposed the fascist face of the government. The government is plotting conspiracy to stay in power by carrying out repression and torture against the opposition members and activists. I am calling upon the concerned authorities to release all the detained members and activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and Chhatrashibir including Jamaat-e-Islami’s Natore district town Jamaat Ameer Maulana Rashedul Islam immediately.”
