Special meeting of the Central Executive Council held

Today, Saturday, 17 January, a special meeting of the Central Executive Council of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami was held at the party’s central office in Moghbazar with Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman in the chair. The meeting began at 9:00 a.m. and continued until 9:30 p.m.

The meeting was attended by the Nayeb-e-Ameers, Secretary General, Assistant Secretary Generals, and members of the Central Executive Council.

Several experts on various subjects and leaders of Jamaat’s Central Women’s wing were also present at the meeting.

Discussions at the meeting focused on the 13th National Parliamentary Election, the party’s election manifesto, policy papers, installation of CCTV cameras at polling centers, ensuring a level playing field, and the overall law and order situation.

In addition, as part of the election campaign activities, Jamaat-e-Islami's Ameer’s tour schedule was finalized including his visit in Dhaka on 22 January, and on 23 and 24 January in North Bengal as well as other places across the country.
