On Saturday, July 19 at 2 pm, a 'national rally' will be held at the Suhrawardy Udyan, Dhaka. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is going to organize this massive rally demanding the trial of all mass killings, necessary and fundamental reforms, implementation of the July Charter and Declaration, rehabilitation of the victim families of l the July Uprising, holding national elections using the PR system, ensuring the voting rights of the expatriates and also for securing a level playing field.

On this occasion, a team led by Jamaat-e-Islami's Secretary General and former MP Professor Mia Golam Porwar visited the Suhrawardy Udyan, the venue for the national rally on Monday, July 7. The other members of the team were Jamaat's Assistant Secretary General Maulana Abdul Halim, Adv. Moazzam Hossain Helal and Adv. Ahsanul Mahboob Zubair, Central Executive Council Member and Secretary of the Central Publicity and Media Department Adv. Matiur Rahman Akanda, Central Executive Council Member and Ameer of Dhaka City South Nurul Islam Bulbul, Secretary of Dhaka City South Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud, Secretary of Dhaka City North Dr. Rezaul Karim, Assistant Secretaries of Dhaka City North Dr. Fakhruddin Manik and Mr. Md. Yasin Arafat, Assistant Secretary of Dhaka City South Kamal Hossain, General Secretary of Bangladesh Sramik Kalyan Federation Adv. Atiqur Rahman and Secretary General of Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir Nurul Islam Saddam, among others.

During the visit, they toured different parts of the park and provided necessary guidance for the smooth implementation of the national rally. At that time, Professor Mia Golam Porwar sought the overall cooperation of the journalists to make the national rally successful.
