Today, on the morning of 20 December, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman shortened his London trip and, upon returning to Dhaka, went directly from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to see the dead body of Shaheed Sharif Osman Hadi, which were kept at the mortuary of the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases. At that time, accompanying the Ameer-e-Jamaat were the organization’s Secretary General, Mia Golam Porwar; Central Executive Council Member Mobarak Hossain; Jamaat-e-Islami–nominated MP candidate for Dhaka-17, Dr. S. M. Khaliduzzaman and other leaders.

The Jamaat Ameer spoke with the two elder brothers of Shaheed Osman Hadi and expressed his condolences to them. Later, together with everyone present, the Jamaat Ameer offered supplications before Almighty Allah, seeking forgiveness for the soul of Shaheed Sharif Osman Hadi and praying for the acceptance of his martyrdom.

It is worth mentioning that today at 2:00 pm, the funeral prayer (Janazah) of Shaheed Osman Hadi will be held at the South Plaza of the National Parliament Building, in which Jamaat Ameer and other top leaders will participate, Insha Allah.
