Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Acting Ameer and former lawmaker Professor Mujibur Rahman has said, the associate members of the organization must engage their lives and properties to make a peaceful and progressive Bangladesh. The people of Bangladesh are very much oppressed. They cannot speak out independently. Our movement is ongoing to restore voting rights, to establish justice and also to curb corruption and money laundering. We have to take part in this movement actively till the collapse of the government.

He said this while addressing a conference of the Associate Members organized by Rangpur district Jamaat today. Rangpur district Jamaat Ameer and Mithapukur upazila's former chairman Professor Golam Rabbani presided over the program and district secretary Maulana Enamul Haque hosted the conference. Jamaat's assistant secretary general and Rangpur-Dinajpur region's coordinator Maulana Abdul Halim, central working committee member and Rangpur-Dinajpur region's assistant coordinator Maulana Momtaz Uddin addressed the program as special guests.

Professor Mujibur Rahman said, as much the Associate Member increase their physical, financial and relevant involvement, the construction of the Islamic society will be stronger. Peace and justice will not be ensured until the law of the holy Quran is established. To do so, the associate members have to establish Quran in their homes.

He further said, the main duties of the associate members are to make effort for securing the victory of Islam and also upgrade his/her standard. Jamaat men have to be by the side of the people through Dawah and social services. He urged the party manpower to perform prayer at midnight.

Maulana Abdul Halim said, the associate members will play due role in the field by building and upgrading themselves. We have to play active role against the fascist government. We should overcome all types of fear while observing programs. We have to set unique example of dedication and sacrifice.

Maulana Momtaz Uddin in his speech, emphasized on financial sacrifice and performing dedicated and sincere roles.
