Jessore city Jamaat organizes leadership program

The fascist government has destroyed the country

-Mobarak Hossain

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s central executive committee member and Jessore-Kushtia region’s coordinator Mobarak Hossain has said, the government has imposed itself upon the nation like an unbearable burden and destroyed the country. In the name of mega projects, they have smuggled thousands of crore taka. The ruling party men bought huge properties in foreign countries by conducting corruption. The bank and the entire financial sector have been demolished. Several banks are on the way to be bankrupted. National economy is going to be collapsed. Rape and murders have increased alarmingly. There is nothing called good governance in the country. The judiciary is not allowed to function independently. Public lives and properties are not secured. People’s voting rights have been snatched away. They are not allowed to speak up. No country can run in such a way.

He said this while addressing a leadership conference organized by Jessore city organizational district today. District Ameer Professor Golam Rasul presided over the program which was hosted by secretary Professor Golam Quddus. Among others, district Nayeb-e-Ameer Belal Hossain, Assistant secretary Shamsuzzaman, Advocate Gazi Enamul Haq, Rezaul Karim were present on the occasion.

Mobarak Hossain said, prices of all essentials have increased for several times but the buying capacity of the people have not increased. The low-income people are struggling to manage their foods. The ruling party traders have caused this price hike by forming syndicate. Although the government is in the office for many years but they failed to introduce a strong market management. The incumbent government is a failed and unqualified government. They are not paying any heed to the mass suffering. They are not elected as such they do not feel any obligation toward the people.

Right now, Bangladesh is going through a fascist rule. They secured the office once again by holding a dummy election. The voters have rejected the election by not going the poll centers on election day. Democratic nations are not recognizing this election and Bangladesh is on the way to be isolated. By arranging a farcical election, the government has created a political deadlock. To get rid of this situation, we are urging the concerned authorities to cancel the dummy election and to hold another free, fair and credible election under a caretaker government.
