Kushtia district's member's conference held

Islamic movement is to be strengthened despite all obstacles and barriers

-Professor Mujibur Rahman

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Acting Ameer and former lawmaker Professor Mujibur Rahman has said that, our programs are ongoing as a part of the movement for securing people’s rights. In this critical situation, Jamaat leaders and activists have to play effective and proactive roles. We have to make relentless efforts to attain the ultimate target. We have to ignore all types of servitude and to act the as the servant of Allah only. We will sacrifice even our lives but we will not bow down before any other forces except Allah. We have to strengthen the movement despite all the obstacles and barriers.

He said this while addressing a virtual member's conference organized by Kushtia district Jamaat-e-Islami on Friday.

He said, the people of the country are depending on Jamaat-e-Islami for a better future. In previous occasions of disasters and crises, and movements, we have sincerely contributed which has attained the appreciation from the countrymen. It is a blessing from Almighty Allah that Jamaat could play such roles in those important events and occasions. To get rid of the ongoing crisis, we have to act in similar sensible way.

Addressing the conference as the special guest, Jamaat's central executive committee member and Jessore-Kushtia region's coordinator Mobarak Hossain said, the countrymen have recognised Jamaat-e-Islami as the third largest political party of the country. The incumbent fascist government has been plotting conspiracy to keep BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami out of the election process. They have paved the way for some treacherous, opportunists and selfish people for taking part in election in order to arrange another farcical election like 2014 and 2018. But the people will not give Awami League that chance again. The voting rights of the people will be secured and the government will be made compelled to accept the just demand of restoring caretaker government system.

Acting district Ameer Abdul Gafur presided over the conference which was hosted by district assistant secretary Professor Abu Abdullah. Among others, regional team member Professor Alamgir Kabir addressed the program.
