Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Assistant Secretary General and Bogra region’s coordinator Maulana Abdul Halim said, the activists of the Islamic movement should make maximum sacrifice in the ongoing movement. We must compel the to accept the demand of the caretaker government system. The government is mulling to hold another farcical election like 2014 and 2018. But the people do not want to see such recurrence. The oppressor regime wants to subdue the movement by carrying out arrest drives, tortures and repression. He urged the countrymen to make the ongoing movement successful ignoring all oppression and barriers.

Maulana Abdul Halim said this while addressing a Upazila shura members’ conference organized by Bogra west district Jamaat-e-Islami. District Ameer and regional team member Principal Abdul Haq Sarkar presided over the conference which was hosted by district secretary Monjurul Islam Raju.

Among others, district Nayeb-e-Ameer Maulana Abdul Hakim Sarkar, Maulana Momtaz Uddin, nominee for Kahalu-Nandigram constituency Maulana Tayeb Ali, nominee for Bogra Shibganj constituency and former MP Principal Maulana Shahadatuzzaman, Professor Matiur Rahman, Abdul Gani Mondol and Nurul Islam Mondol addressed the program.
