Associate Members’ conference organized Jhinaidah district Jamaat-e-Islami

The fascist government is mulling to hold another staged and farcical election

-Professor Mujibur Rahman

Acting Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former MP Professor Mujibur Rahman has said, the incumbent fascist government has come to power and continued to hold office by holding farcical election in 2014 and 2018. But this time, the countrymen will not give them such opportunity.

He said this while addressing a conference of the Associate Members organized by Jhinaidah district Jamaat-e-Islami on 13th October. Jhinaidah district Ameer Ali Azam Mohammad Abu Bakar presided over the conference which was hosted by district secretary Abdul Awal.

The government is not allowing Jamaat-e-Islami to hold meeting and processions. They are continuing nationwide arrest drive, abduction, murder and repression nationwide. They are managing administration by their party cadres and loyal personnel. All institutions of the state have become a sanctuary of bribery, looting and corruption. Most of the government offices have become dysfunctional. No country can proceed in such a way.

He said, Almighty Allah is our Lord and we are His servant. We have to be servitude to Allah only. It was the mission of all Prophets to make Allah’s Deen victorious over all other human-made doctrines. Jamaat-e-Islami is trying to do the same activities. Whoever will do such work, Allah has promised them to help. So, the Associate members are supposed to help the process of establishing Deen of Almighty Allah in this world. We should engage in self-building and upgrading the personal standard.

The tyrannical government wants to eliminate us by dint of torture and repression. Despite these barriers and oppression, Jamaat-e-Islami is trying to establish Allah’s law and the rule of the honest leaders. We are expecting that you will join us and help us to make our organization stronger.

Addressing the program as the special guest, Jamaat’s central executive committee member and Jessore-Kushtia region’s coordinator Mobarak Hossain said, the incumbent government has seized the voting rights of the people away. Jamaat will not take part in any election under this regime. Jamaat will continue its movement to restore caretaker government system and will be succeeded insha Allah.

Among others, Jhinaidah district Jamaat’s Nayeb-e-Ameer Professor Matiar Rahman and other leaders were present on the occasion.
