Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Narail district Nayeb-e-Ameer Ali Ahmad died of liver cancer in his house on 8th July noon. His Namaj-e-Janaja was held in the S M Ahad College ground this evening with the presence of thousands of people. Jamaat’s central executive committee member and Jessore-Kushtia region’s coordinator Mobarak Hossain led the prayer. He also addressed the gathering before the Janaja prayer.

Mobarak Hossain said, huge number of people came to attend this Janaja both from inside the Narail district and the neighboring districts and this precedence demonstrated his extreme popularity and acceptance. He has worked throughout his life as the sincere preacher of Islam. May Allah accept all his services and contributions. Ameen.

Among others, Jamaat’s central working committee member Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, Khulna city Ameer Professor Mahfuzur Rahman, Narail district Ameer Ataur Rahman Bachchu, Magura district’s former Ameer Abdul Matin and Dr. Alamgir Bishash, Narail district’s former Ameer Maulana Nurunnabi Jihadi, Maulana Mirza Asheq Elahi, Magura district Ameer MB Baker, Jessore east district Ameer Master Nurunnabi, Narail district BNP secretary Monirul Islam, Narail district Jamaat Secretary Maulana Obaidullah Kaiser, Magura district secretary Saeed Ahmad, Jessore east district secretary Maulana Abu Jafor Siddque, Narail district BNP Secretary Monirul Islam and many others were present on the occasion. Following the Namaj-e-Janaja, he was buried at his family graveyard.
