Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Acting Secretary General Maulana ATM Masum has issued a statement on 30th December in which he stated that, the countrymen have already rejected the schedule, which had been declared by government's submissive election commission. The fascist Awami League government has completed all arrangements to launch one-party rule in the country. They are keen to destroy the country and this is why, they are ruining the democratic institutions and democratic systems gradually. But their ill-plans should not allowed to be executed. The peace loving people have been conducting movement systematically against this government. Under the circumstances, on behalf of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, I am urging to continue mass contact and leaflet distribution program on Sunday and Monday. I am calling upon the countrymen and the Jamaat leaders and activists to make the program successful.
