Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former lawmaker Professor Mia Golam Porwar has issued the following statement on 13 March 2021 congratulating and hailing the winner General Secretary candidate of the Supreme Court Bar Association’s Executive Committee election RuhulQuddusKazol and newly elected Vice-President Md. Jalal Uddin and also appreciating Shariful Islam, Shahid Ullah and 12 other candidates who have secured victory in Comilla district Bar Association election.

Their victory will facilitate the ongoing movement for establishing rule of law, justice and human rights in Bangladesh. The winner candidates will play effective role in ensuring congenial atmosphere, lawyer’s due rights and rule of law in the judiciary. Hopefully, they will make effort to provide justice to the helpless people and also to get rid of the tensed environment within the judicial periphery.
