-Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher

On June 30, at 11.30 am a two-member delegation from Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami paid a courtesy visit to the Honorable Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Mansour Chavoshi, at the Embassy of Iran in Dhaka. The Jamaat delegation included Nayeb-e-Ameer and former MP Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher, and Central Executive Committee member and Secretary of Jamaat’s Central Media and Publicity Department, Advocate Matiur Rahman Akanda.

Recently, the warmongering Israeli regime launched a severe attack on Iran’s sovereignty, blatantly violating international laws, norms, and the United Nations Charter. This aggression by the occupying Israeli forces caused significant casualties and property damages, including the deaths of several Iranian military officers and nuclear scientists.

The people of Bangladesh, especially Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, strongly condemn this aggressive assault by Israel and express their solidarity with Iran. Honorable Ambassador Mr. Mansour Chavoshi expressed his satisfaction with Jamaat’s stance and conveyed his gratitude to the people of Bangladesh.

During the visit, Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher signed the condolence book kept at the embassy and offered prayers to Almighty Allah to accept the deceased as martyrs. He also expressed heartfelt sympathy to the families of the deceased and the injured.

Both sides expressed hope that the brotherly relations and bilateral ties between the Bangladesh and Iran would be further strengthened in the future.
