Central Majlish-e-Shura member of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami ASM Rois Uddin has died of bronchitis while undergoing treatment in a hospital of the capital on last 8th February. Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun. He was 72. He has left his wife, 3 sons, two daughters and many other relatives.

Message of condolence

Acting Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former lawmaker Professor Mujibur Rahman has issued the following message of condolence on 8th February expressing shock at the death of ASM Rois Uddin.

"Late ASM Rois Uddin has played various roles in the then undivided Dhaka city including Sutrapur thana Ameer. He was actively involved with different social services. Humanitarian activities was the mission of his life. Through the social services, he engaged himself in spreading the message of Islam. At his demise, we have lost a dedicated soul of the Islamic movement. He has worked hard to establish a just society. I am expressing deep shock at hia death.

May Allah bless him and expand his grave. May Allah turn all his vices into pieties. May Allah make his eternal journey easier and comfortable. May Allah bless him with Jannah and allow his family and friends to tolerate the shock of this painful time.
