Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Khulna south organizational district’s former Ameer and Koira Upazila’s two-time elected chairman Maulana AKM Tamiz Uddin died of old age complications on 18th January night. Innalillahi wa inna Ilaihi Rajiun. He was 77. He has left his wife, one son and 3 daughters. Following his namaj-e-Janaja at Moharajpur union premise this afternoon, he was buried at his family graveyard.
Message of condolence
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Acting Ameer and former lawmaker Professor Mujibur Rahman has issued the following message of condolence on 19th January, 2024 at the death of Maulana AKM Tamiz Uddin.
“We have lost a dedicated soul at the demise of Maulana AKM Tamiz Uddin. He has worked relentlessly throughout his life to establish a just society. He also played significant role in spreading the message of Islam and also in expanding Islamic movement in Khulna region. I am expressing deep shock at his death.
May Allah bless him, forgive him and expand his graveyard. May Allah forgive his sins and turn into pieties. May Allah make his eternal journey easy and comfortable. May Allah bless him with Jannah and enable his mournful family and relatives to tolerate this shock.”
