“I am extremely saddened as at least 20 people killed in last 3 separate road accidents in last two days.

Some SSC examinees went in an excursion in Mymensingh and experienced a severe road accident which left 7 students killed on the spot. Such an accident is really very tragic.

While going to the marriage ceremony of the cousin of Rajshahi west district Jamaat Ameer Professor Abdul Khaleque, a private car faced massive mishap that killed 3 people on the spot.

Later another 5 people killed in the hospital. All the victims are relatives. This road accident created a tragic atmosphere in the whole area. I became shocked to know this painful accident as well.

In Gopalganj, five people died as a Dhaka-bound private car hit a roadside tree after its driver lost control over the wheels, causing the car to catch fire. The incident took place on Dhaka-Barishal highway at Dignagar area under Mukshudpur upazia of the district around 3:40pm today.

In total some 20 people killed in these 3 road accidents in last two days. Such accidents are really heart breaking. I am seeking salvation of all the victims. I am also extending my deep sympathy and condolence to all the victim families. I am praying for the quick recovery of the injured.

In many occasions such road mishaps are being taken place due to reckless and careless driving. Everybody should be aware of such incidents. I am calling upon the concerned authorities to pay due compensation to the victims and simultaneously to arrange proper treatment for them.
