Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Acting Ameer and former MP Professor Mujibur Rahman has termed the holy Prophet (pbuH) as the best example to follow. Practically, the holy Prophet (pbuH) was the living example of the Quran. So, to enjoy peace in this world and the salvation in the hereafter, we have to follow the ideology of the Prophet (pbuH) sincerely.

He said this while addressing a virtual discussion program organized by Dhaka north city Jamaat on the eve of the Sirat-un-Nabi (pbuH). Jamaat’s central working committee member and Dhaka north city’s Acting Ameer Abdur Rahman Musa presided over the program which was hosted by central working committee member and Dhaka north city’s Secretary Dr. Rezaul Karim.

Among others, Jamaat’s Nayeb-e-Ameer and former MP Maulana ANM Shamsul Islam, Acting Secretary General Maulana ATM Masum, Assistant Secretary General and former MP AHM Hamidur Rahman Azad and Maulana Abdul Halim addressed the program. Jamaat’s central Majlish-e-Shura member and Dhaka North city Jamaat’s Nayeb-e-Ameer Engineer Golam Mostofa, central Majlish-e-Shura member and Dhaka North city Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary Mahfuzur Rahman, Nazim Uddin Molla, Dr. Fakhruddin Manik were present in the program as the honorable guests.

Professor Mujibur Rahman said, Almighty Allah says in the Quran, “Allah and His angels send Durud on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye Durud on him, and salute him with all respect.” (Sura Ahzab: Verse 56). We verbally send Durud and blessing on Him but do not follow him truly. So, we will be able to demonstrate our highest respect for Him when we can follow Him and His ideology properly.

Acting Ameer said, our holy Prophet (pbuH) was the greatest ever reformer of the society. He successfully established a welfare state in Madina for the people of all faith and beliefs. Prior to attain prophethood, he had launched a social service platform namely Hilfyl Fazal. Although some quarters often become critic of the formation of the organization and securing of power. But practically, oppressors can be tackled by acquiring organizational and political power. He urged everybody to play a unified role to establish an ideal society and state.

Maulana Shamsul Islam said, the Makki period of the life of the Prophet (peace be upon Him) was long and in this period, He conveyed the sermons of Islam in every household. He also became the worst victim of repression and harassment. But he did not lose hope. After attaining the Prophethood, when the revelation of the Quran began at that time, he became a bit fearful. Later, he started Dawah activities in underground. Later, tortures against Him and His companions became intensified as they launch Dawah activities in public. At one point, he migrated to Madina. We all have to continue Islamic activities ignoring all barriers and repressions.

Maulana ATM Masum said, Allah has defined the Prophet (pbuH) as the best example to follow. He should be followed in all phases of life. He was the personification of the best ever ideology. We should engage our efforts in building ourselves as per His ideology. He called upon the people to play pivotal role in changing society in accordance with the ideology and footsteps of the Prophet (pbuH).

Hamidur Rahman Azad said, the Madani period of Prophet’s life was revolutionary. Earlier, there was an anarchic society. Mass people were the victims of tortures of the elites. There were no public rights. But the Prophet (pbuH) was very successful in establishing a welfare state in Madina which was free from discrimination and exploitation. He upheld ethics and morality in all spheres. So, we all should be united in establishing a just society as per His ideology.

Maulana Abdul Halim said, our Prophet (pbuH) was the last messenger. Earlier, Allah had sent many Prophets and Messengers for various nations to correct and guide them. The purpose of sending the last prophet was to make people loyal to Allah and also to defy the evil forces. So, we all have to make effort to launch all-out measures against the anti-Islamic forces in accordance with the spirit of Prophetic ideology.

Abdur Rahman Musa said, Almighty Allah sent the final Prophet (pbuH) as the greatest ever blessing for the entire universe. He had been sent to make Islam victorious. So, we have to follow His ideology in all stages of life. He urged everybody to make sincere efforts to establish Deen Islam as the victorious doctrine.
