Central Publicity Affairs Secretary of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and party’s central executive committee member Matiur Rahman Akanda has issued the following statement on 5 November 2020 protesting and gainsaying the false report of Daily Janakantha titled ‘নৈরাজ্য সৃষ্টির উদ্দেশ্যে নীলনক্সা অনুযায়ী মাঠে জামায়াত’ (Jamaat is on the filed with a secret plan to create anarchy).

The report of Daily Janakantha titled ‘নৈরাজ্য সৃষ্টির উদ্দেশ্যে নীলনক্সা অনুযায়ী মাঠে জামায়াত’ (Jamaat is on the filed with a secret plan to create anarchy) is false, concocted and politically motivated. This is nothing but a part of the consistent propaganda of Daily Janakantha against Jamaat-e-Islami. It becomes a bad habit of this Bengali daily to implicate Jamaat-e-Islami with all misdeeds and also to continue propaganda against this organization.

In the report it has been stated that Jamaat and Chhatrashibir have started activities to materialize their blueprint conspiracy in order to create anarchy and turmoil in the country. The report also claimed that, the intelligence agencies are given charge of probing into an alleged connection between Jamaat-e-Islami with an intelligence body of a foreign country. We want to assert that there is no chance of having relation with any such foreign intelligence body.

We hope and believe that the concerned authority of Daily Janakantha will be refrained from publishing such false, fabricated and intentional report in future.
