Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has congratulated Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Sabah as he swore in as the new Emir of Kuwait.

In a felicitation message Jamaat Ameer stated, we are congratulating and hailing Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Sabah on behalf of the people of Bangladesh and our beloved organization Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami.

I hope that Kuwait will move exquisitely towards peace, prosperity and progress under the leadership of its new Emir. I also believe that the new Emir will take initiative to strengthen relationship between Bangladesh and Kuwait and also with the other parts of the Muslim world. Expectantly, he will play key role to resolve the existing crisis of the Middle-East region as well.
