Today, 1 January at 7:00 pm, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman visited BNP Chairperson's Gulshan office to convey condolences to BNP’s Acting Chairman Mr. Tarique Rahman and his bereaved family.

At that time, Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman expressed deep sorrow at the demise of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia and signed the condolence book.

He inquired about the well-being of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and consoled him. He expressed sympathy to his family members and colleagues.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Standing Committee Member Nazrul Islam Khan, Salahuddin Ahmed and Dr. Zahid Hossain were present at that time.

Whereas Assistant Secretary General and Central Publicity and Media Department Chief of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Advocate Ahsanul Mahboob Zubair, Central Executive Council Member Saiful Alam Khan Milon and Mr. Mobarak Hossain accompanied the Jamaat Ameer.

After coming out of the Gulshan office, the Jamaat Ameer gave a brief press briefing in front of the attending journalists.
