On 16 November, the Honorable Ambassador of Turkey to Bangladesh, Mr. Ramis Sen, met with the Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman in a courtesy call. The meeting was held on Sunday morning at the Ameer’s office in Basundhara, Dhaka, in a very cordial and friendly atmosphere.

During the meeting, they held important discussions on strengthening bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Turkey, expanding trade and business, increasing investment, enhancing humanitarian cooperation, and improving diplomatic relations.

The meeting expressed optimism that the development and progress of both countries will be further strengthened in the future.

Professor Dr. Mahmudul Hasan, Jamaat Ameer's advisor on Foreign Affairs was also present at the meeting.
