His Excellency Mr. Marcelo Carlos Cesa, Ambassador of Argentina to Bangladesh, paid a courtesy call and attended a breakfast meeting with the Honorable Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, at his Bashundhara office in the capital on Tuesday, September 30, at 9:00 a.m.

At the very beginning, the Ambassador inquired about the health condition of Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman and wished him a complete recovery.

The meeting was held in a very cordial and friendly atmosphere. During the discussion, they exchanged views on the overall situation prevailing in Bangladesh, the bilateral relations and investment opportunities between Bangladesh and Argentina, as well as various matters of mutual interest including international relations. They expressed optimism that Argentina’s firm support for Bangladesh would continue in the future, along with an increase in Argentine investment in Bangladesh.

On behalf of Jamaat-e-Islami, Assistant Secretary General and Head of the Central Publicity and Media Department, Advocate Ahsanul Mahboob Zubair, and Jamaat Ameer's Advisor on Foreign Affairs, Professor Dr. Mahmudul Hasan were present during the meeting.
