Jamaat’s central executive committee urges to stop Israeli brutalities and massacre in Palestine

A meeting of the central executive committee of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami held with party’s Acting Ameer and former lawmaker Professor Mujibur Rahman in the chair. The meeting adopted the following proposals condemning the brutal and inhuman attacks and atrocities of the Israeli forces on Gaza strip of Palestine.

“Central Executive Committee of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has been observing with deep concern that the occupying Israeli forces are committing worst ever deadly attack on the Gaza strip of Palestine. Their brutalities and the subsequent number of casualties have exceeded all previous records of the century. The entire Palestine has been turned into a debris. More than 4 thousand Palestinian civilians have been killed and 12 thousand people became injured in these deadly attacks since last 7th October. Most of the casualty victims are women and children. Around 13 thousand houses have been destroyed, 10 thousand homes became inhabitable and more than 0.1 million houses have been damaged partially. The Israeli brutal forces bombarded a hospital of the strip on last 17th October that killed 500 civilians instantly. Most of the victims were kids. There is no example of attacking on a hospital before. The Israeli forces created a stigmatized part of the history. Attacks on the babies have caused cries and tears among the people around the world.

The Israeli forces are continuing their aggressive attacks. They asked 1.2 million residents of Gaza city to evacuate their homes. Such instructions are completely unlawful and it goes against the humanity. Israeli authority has no right to issue such an evacuation order. Rather, they have to leave the Palestinian land as they had occupied it 80 years before.

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s central executive committee urges the Muslim world, United Nations, all human rights organizations and democratic states to bring an end to the ongoing brutalities in Palestine. The Palestine, particularly the Gaza strip is severely suffering from food, medicines, water and other life saving items. The injured victims are not receiving even a nominal treatment. Jamaat’s central executive committee is calling upon the Muslim world, United Nations, all human rights organizations and democratic states to stand for Palestine and also for taking initiatives for sending food, medicines, water and other lifesaving items in Gaza.

May Allah accept the great souls as martyrs who have sacrificed their lives in the ‘Free Palestine’ movement. May Allah bless all the injured with quick recovery. We are always with the oppressed people of Palestine and will be with them insha Allah.
