Tomorrow’s Bangladesh will be free from tyrant and autocracy

A conference was held with the former leaders of the student movement in Jamalpur district in a local auditorium on 24th June, Saturday.

Jamalpur city Jamaat Ameer Advocate Asimul Islam presided over the program which was hosted by city secretary Khondokar Mokaddesh Ali. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s central executive committee member and central publicity secretary Advocate Matiur Rahman Akanda was the chief guest in the conference. Jamaat’s central organizing secretary and Mymensingh region’s coordinator Dr. Samiul Haq Faruqi was the special guest. Among others, Jamaat’s central Majlish-e-Shura member and district Ameer Kabir Ahmed Humayun, Nayeb-e-Ameer Professor Khalilur Rahman, district secretary Advocate Abdul Awal, district Sramik Kollan Federation President Mirza Abdul Mazed and other city and district leaders addressed the conference.

Matiur Rahman Akanda said, tomorrow’s Bangladesh will be free from autocracy and tyranny. Islam will be victorious in this land. Bangladesh will be free from deprivation, poverty and hunger. Rule of law, human rights and justice will be established. Jamaat-e-Islami will play the key role to transform Bangladesh into that expected welfare state. You should take part in the broad base movement in order to make Jamaat-e-Islami strong. He also urged the former leaders of the student movement to become pro-active in the days to come.

Dr. Samiul Haq Faruqi said, the hesitant and weak people step back from the Islamic movement. The success of the Islamic movement in Bangladesh largely depends on your effective and consistent roles.
