In a statement issued on 7 April 2021, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Assistant Secretary General and central office management Affair’s Secretary Maulana Abdul Halim said, “We have been observing with deep concern that in various social media platform (facebook& others), some people have launched different groups named ‘Jamaat-Shibir Network’, Jamaat-Shibir supporter’s Forum, ‘We are Jamaat-Shibir Group’ and at the same time they have opened false facebook ID with the name of Jamaat leaders and posted some unjust, insensible and disturbing posts from there frequently.

We are asserting clearly that our organization has no connection with those IDs and posts. I am drawing the kind attention of the concerned personnel to stop such malpractices. Besides, we are urging everyone to reject them vehemently.
