Central Publicity Affairs Secretary of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Professor Md. Tasnim Alam has issued the following statement on 8th July 2019 protesting and denouncing the baseless propaganda against Jamaat-e-Islami and Islami Chhatrashibir in two reports published in Daily Jugantor and online news portal amadershomoy.com on 8th July 2019.

“I am severely protesting and condemning the baseless propaganda against Jamaat-e-Islami and Islami Chhatrashibir in two reports published in Daily Jugantor and online news portal amadershomoy.com.
Responding to these two reports, I want to assert that Jamaat-e-Islami and Islami Chhatrashibir do not believe in the politics of arms and violence. These two news media have conducted these intentional propagandas to tarnish the image of these two organizations. They had done such ill-tasks earlier and subsequently we had protested those reports as well. But they did not dare to publish the rejoinder as per the ethics of the honest journalism. Like the previous issues, these reports would be proved false and concocted too.

I hope and believe that the authorities of Daily Jugantor and online news portal amadershomoy.com would publish this rejoinder properly to lessen the mass confusion. We are expecting that from now on, they will be refrained from publishing such false news against Jamaat-e-Islami and Islami Chharrashibir.
