Two lawyers, along with a proposer and a supporter went to the Election Commission office today (1 December 2018) on behalf of the parliament election candidate for Rangpur-5 (Mithapukur) constituency Professor Ghulam Rabbani to submit his nomination paper. The election commission office also registered his nomination paper. Commission secretariat further informed them, they will notify the final result about this nomination paper on 2nd December.
It should be mentioned here that, earlier on 28 November, on behalf of Professor Ghulam Rabbani, his representatives went to Rangpur Returning officer’s office to submit his nomination paper. But they denied accepting that paper. As a result, his representatives submitted the nomination paper today to the Election Commission Secretariat, Dhaka.
