Central Publicity Affairs Secretary of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Professor Tasnim Alam has issued the following statement on 19 November 2018 protesting and gainsaying the baseless and false report of Daily Janakantha titled “কৌশলে-অপকৌশলে জামায়াত”  (Jamaat is busy in making tactics and ill-tactics).

This report of Daily Janakantha claims that along with the electoral preparation, Jamaat is moving with some secret strategies for creating anarchy. Such claim is completely baseless. I am protesting and disproving such baseless and untrue comments.

The allegation against Jamaat-e-Islami of taking preparation for creating anarchy ahead of the national polls is totally false. This information is a fiction of the concerned reporter. The Daily Janakantha has been making intentional propaganda against Jamaat-e-Islami for years and this report is nothing but a continuation of such propagation. The countrymen do not believe such baseless and fictitious report at all.

I am urging the authority of Daily Janakantha to be refrained from publishing such false report in future.
