Central Publicity Secretary of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Professor Tasnim Alam has issued the following statement on 16th September 2018 protesting and gainsaying the false, baseless and intentional report of online news portal amadershomoy.com published on 16th September titled “বাইরে ঐক্য, ভিতরে নাশকতার ছক” (Unity apparently; while blue print design of anarchy internally).
“Online news portal amadershomoy.com in their report titled “বাইরে ঐক্য, ভিতরে নাশকতার ছক” (Unity apparently; while blue print design of anarchy internally) published many information implicating Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami which is completely baseless. I am vehemently condemning such baseless ad false report.
Online news portal amadershomoy.com in their report claimed that BNP cadre groups have planned to create nationwide anarchy with the help of Jamaat activists ahead of the declaration of the election schedule. This information is a sheer lie. Jamaat-e-Islami do not believe in anarchy so no question can be emanated at all of hatching any such conspiracy for creating anarchy. The report also mentioned about a meeting in London between Tareq Rahman and the sons of Shaheed Mir Quasem Ali, Late Professor Ghulam Azam, Shaheed Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mujahid and Shaheed Maulana Matiur Rahman Nizami, which is completely false. This information is nothing but a fiction of the concerned reporter.
Some claimed law enforcers have picked up Barrister Mir Ahmad Bin Quasem Arman, the son of Shaheed Mir Quasem Ali from his house on 9th August of 2016. Similarly, some plain cloth dressed men, claiming themselves as DB officers had picked up retired Brigadier General Abdullahil Aman Azmi, the son of late Professor Ghulam Azam on 22nd August of 2016. These two persons are still traceless. The high officials of the government are saying nothing about them despite the pressures from various platforms. Surprisingly, online news portal amadershomoy.com stated that these duos were present in the meeting with Tareq Rahman in London. What could be worse falsehood than this ill-campaign? We have no more interest to respond such baseless and false report.
I am urging the authority of online news portal amadershomoy.com to be refrained from publishing such fictitious and baseless report in future.
