Central Publicity Department’s Secretary of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Professor Md. Tasnim Alam has issued the following statement on 11th August, 2018 renouncing and gainsaying the false report titled “বোমারু মিজানের আন্তর্জাতিক জংগী কানেকশন (International militant network of bomb expert Mizan) which quoted the false and baseless information saying ‘Bomb expert Mizan became militant under the direct backing of Jamaat-e-Islami.’

‘We do not know bomber Mizan at all. We came to know his name from this report published in Daily Janakantha. Anybody from Jamaat-e-Islami has any connection with him. So no question can be emanated at all to give him backing from Jamaat-e-Islami.

The report brought an allegation in forth saying that Jamaat provided financial sponsor to set up a bomb making factory in the Khagra Gor. This is completely false information. Jamaat firmly and sincerely believes in the democratic trend of politics. So the question of such financing completely irrelevant. This information is nothing but a fiction of the concerned reporter.
I am urging the authority of Daily Janakantha to be refrained from publishing such fictitious and false information against Jamaat-e-Islami.
