Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islamí’s Ameer Maqbul Ahmad has issued the following message of condolence on 6th August, 2018 as a magnitude 6.9 earthquake killed at least 91 people and injured hundreds of people more across the Indonesian resort island of Lombok.
In the message of condolence, he further stated that on behalf of myself and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, I am expressing my deep condolences and shock as a magnitude 6.9 earthquake killed at least 91 people and injured hundreds of people more across the Indonesian resort island of Lombok. The massive casualties and crises what have been created in Indonesia as a consequence of the earthquake is very tough to recover. I am expecting the government and the people of Indonesia will be able to manage these losses shortly.
I am praying for the salvation of the departed souls and extending deep sympathy to the victim families. Besides, I am praying for the quickest recovery of the injured victims.
