Nayeb-e-Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former lawmaker Professor Mia Ghulam Parwar has issued the following statement on 10th July, 2018 protesting and condemning the unjustified arrest of Chuadanga district’s Alamdanga North Organizational unit’s Ameer Doctor Ahmad Jalal.
“I am vehemently protesting and condemning the unjustifiable arrest of Chuadanga district’s Alamdanga North Organizational unit’s Ameer Doctor Ahmad Jalal. No warrant or case had been issued against him. Despite such fact, he has been arrested unlawfully. He became the victim of government’s vengeance. He has been suffering from diabetes for years. Government’s fascist face has been exposed once again through this unlawful arrest. I am urging to raise voice against the misrule of the government.
Finally, I am calling upon the concerned authorities to release all the detained leaders and activists of Jamaat-e-Islami including Doctor Ahmad Jalal immediately.”
