Acting Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former lawmaker Professor Mujibur Rahman has issued the following message of condolence on 23rd February, 2018 expressing deep shock at the death of former Ameer-e-Shariat of Bangladesh Khelafat Andolon and the eldest son of Hafezzi Hujur, Maulana Ahmadullah Ashraf.

In the message of condolence, Acting Ameer stated that, the nation lost a prominent religious personality and national leader at his demise. He was a generous, broad-minded and patriotic Islamic figure. His death caused a severe vacuum which not be fulfilled easily. He will be remembered for his great contributions.

May Allah bless the deceased with mercy and protection. May Allah accept him as His distinguished guest and expand his grave. May Allah recognize all his noble deeds to bless him with Jannah.

Acting Ameer in this condolence message, also extended his deep sympathy to deceased's mournful family and prayed for them so that they can hold patience in this tough time.
