News of Condolence
Majlish-e-Shura member of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Gendaria thana Ameer under Dhaka South city Jamaat and former Financial Affair Secretary of Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir and Ex-President of Rajshahi University unit Chhatrashibir Abdul Zabbar died of cardiac arrest on 12th January dawn. Innalillahi Wa inna Ilaihi Rajiun. He has left his wife, two daughters and many relatives. His first Namaj-e-Janaja (funeral prayer held in Gendaria at 7 am and the second one held at Rupdia Sakarigati, his native village under Jessore Sadar Upazila. Later he was buried at his family graveyard.
Message of condolence
Acting Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and former lawmaker Professor Mujibur Rahman has issued the following message of condolence on 12th January, 2018 at the death of Majlish-e-Shura member of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Gendaria thana Ameer under Dhaka South city Jamaat and former Financial Affair Secretary of Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir and Ex-President of Rajshahi University unit Chhatrashibir Abdul Zabbar, who died of cardiac arrest this dawn.
In the message of condolence, Acting Ameer further stated that late Abdul Zabbar was involved with the Islamic movement from his student life. He has struggled throughout his life for the establishment of Islam. May Allah bless and forgive late Abdul Zabbar (Rahimahullah). May Allah accept his distinguished guest and expand his grave with blessings. May Allah forgive all his sins and bless him with Jannah.
Acting Ameer also extended his deep sympathy to his mournful family and prayed for them so that they can hold patience during this crucial period of time.”
