Central Majlish-e-Shura member of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and Dhaka city North unit’s Assistant Secretary Lashkar Mohammad Taslim has said, huge protests spared in the Muslim world as US President Trump recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Zionist Israel. Mr. Taslim urged President Trump to repeal his decision, otherwise, it would seriously hamper the Middle East peace process, he warned.

He said this while addressing a post-rally procession in the capital on Friday protesting President Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israeli capital. Dhaka city North unit Jamaat arranged the program as a part of the centrally declared program. Among others Dhaka city Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary Mahfuzur Rahman, central Majlish-e-Shura member Maulana Delwar Hossain, Advocate Belayet Hossain, Maulana Mohibulla, Chhatrashibir’s Dhaka city west unit president Mujahidul Islam, North unit president Zamil Akhtar were present on the occasion.

Lashkar Taslim said the first Qibla of the Muslim community, our heartbeat, the holy Masjid-ul-Aqsa is situated in Jerusalem. So this city can never be the capital of the Zionist state Israel. By recognizing Jerusalem, as the capital of Israel, President Trump has made a huge blow against around 2 billion of Muslim around the world. The Muslims around the globe have started agitation against such unjust move of President Trump. Already this decision sparked protests in the Arab world and millions of Muslims have already taken to the street.

He also alleged that President Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israeli capital once again proved that United States and Israel are the two key factors behind the ongoing turmoil in the Arab region. He also urged the United Nations, OIC and all the peace loving nations to take strong measures to keep Israel refrained from declaring Jerusalem as its capital.

Dhaka city South:
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka city South unit also hold a procession and protest demo against the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Dhaka city South unit Jamaat’s working committee member Mohammad Kamal Hossain led the procession.

In the program, Jamaat leaders said that we along with the Muslim Ummah are highly aggrieved and shocked at the recognition of Jerusalem as Israeli capital. Jerusalem is merely not a place; it is the first Qibla of the Muslim communities and the heartbeat of the Muslims around the world. Masjid-ul-Aqsa, the holy site of Islam is located in this city. Religiously and politically, this sacred place belongs to the Arab Muslims and it is an inseparable part of the Palestine. On the contrary, Israel is the invaders and they have no legitimacy. So this illegitimate nation has no right to claim Jerusalem as their capital. President Trump’s such recognition is a boastful and arrogant move, which can never be supported by any human being with good conscience.

Chittagong city:
Jamaat-e-Islami Chittagong city unit also hold a demonstration protesting against Jerusalem’s recognition as Israeli capital. The leaders in the program claimed, severe conspiracies are going on against the Muslim communities around the world. The oppressors carried massive crackdown against the Muslims in Myanmar, Syria, Egypt, Yemen, Kashmir and Palestine. Israel has occupied the Palestinian land unlawfully to establish its Zionist state. The leaders voiced to raise protest against the conspiracies, which are being plotted against the Muslims.

Sylhet city:
Similar protest demo held in Sylhet. Addressing the program, city Jamaat’s Nayeb-e-Ameer Fakhrul Islam said, the first Qibla of the Muslim community, our heartbeat, the holy Masjid-ul-Aqsa is situated in Jerusalem. So this city can never be the capital of the Zionist state Israel. By recognizing Jerusalem, as the capital of Israel, President Trump has made a huge blow against the Muslims around the world. He urged international forums and world communities to take effective measures to repeal such unjust recognition.
